About Unforgettable Romance

Unforgettable Romance (or UR) is about the lives of the citizens of Pink Top City. The entire setting does not take place on Earth, either but rather a planet called "Reona". The time is in the distant future (like most other places take place in) but it seems the time is more fitted to being 1986. The main characters of UR are Jay, Celeste, Ray, Erik, Quimby, and the two villains, Dr. Nim Rod and John Somers.


A bit of an intro on each: Celeste is the part time barmaid at both Happy Henry’s (a bar) and The Golden Rod (a titty bar) and she also is a secret spy. She only wants someone to love her. :( It’s very hard to do your job and find love, you know. Had a fling with Erik, but had to leave him because Erik loves Ray, and she feels Ray deserves to be happy more so than her. She is currently boarding with Meimi, and helps her out with the bills. Jay is Celeste’s ex-boyfriend who tries desperately to get her back; he’s also a teacher at a little schoolhouse; very foulmouthed and cynical, he always makes people uncomfortable and makes Ray cry all the time. Ray is Jay’s younger brother and the emo teen. He cries all the time, and threatens suicide. He was lonely up until Erik gave him love. Ray STILL does get whiny, but Erik saves him from killing himself. Erik is the newcomer of Pink Top he was really good friends with Celeste and got to know Ray better through her. Now he and Ray are lovers, and have a bunny named lil’ Ray! Currently, Erik models for a site he and Ray put together called “Ray loves sexy feet” which helps out the two financially since Erik sells some of his used items on there. But there is something about Erik yet to be discovered... Quimby is the youngest and the most deluded. He’s only 12 years old, but he believes himself to be the most genius scientist on the planet. He things he invents things that were already invented (like gravity, the light, etc.) and makes things out of duct tape, cardboard boxes and old junk thinking it’s the most ingenious creation ever. He looks up to Dr. Forrestpee of Mystery Science Crapbox 5000 and believes he’s really a scientist and the people are really on a planet cursing at crappy movies.


Dr. Nim Rod is your average clichéd mad scientist, only this time… she hires her minions from the internet. She hires the most losing, balding, basement dwelling trolls you can find and they always fuck up her missions. She has resentment towards Celeste for destroying her spider machine, and ‘mortifying’ her (when no one knew or cared, really). So, she has to get revenge like all villains do, but with her clichéd teddy bear machines. She hired a hippy boy named Josh to date Celeste, so she could get even with her, but not much is known about Josh now… John Somers is Nim Rod’s lawyer. John is a horny fat bastard who loves Erik and any cute guy. But he loves Erik because he’s so small and cute. Ray always has to save Erik from John, but because John’s so fat to escape he sends his cat, Evil Kitty Kitty to kill Ray.


There is also one online pal Ray has: Shinji. Shinji is the teenager who spells like a 12 year old AOLer and thinks he can design the best games (even though the ideas are stolen and very clichéd).


Then two characters of Erik’s Meimi and Kairi are there, too. Meimi Nakajima is a fashion designer for the Pink Top Beauty Queen. She is currently Celeste’s room mate, and as of now, the two are pretty good friends. She tries to help Celeste when she can. Kairi Miyamoto is the stripper of the Golden Rod. For a while, she was having a relationship with Celeste’s ex, Jay, but it didn’t last because she couldn’t handle how Jay was using her and his abusive attitude. At first, Celeste didn’t like her because of this, but now Celeste can stand her. She works at the strip club where Celeste is a barmaid!


Some of the minor characters are Jivin, Roland, Yoshi, Groki, Glenn, Sexy Steve, etc. Jivin is the pot smoking rebellious teenager who wants nothing but drugs and sex, and picks on mentally challenged children. He also gave Ray a hard time at school. Jivin is now in jail for physically assaulting a mentally challenged boy, and won’t be in UR until he is released. Roland was also a rebellious teen and a gangsta wannabe. He picked on Ray more than anyone, and tries to be a rapper. He was dating Celestina, Celeste’s younger sister. Roland was killed due to Dr. Nim Rod mutating him into a creature of her own creation (caused by Genetic Splicing) and the police force shot him to death, so of course he is “written out”.
